The company was also runner up in the training and development special awards category. This is presented to the organisation “whose workforce feels that they are provided with the opportunity for growth and progression, supported by structured training and personal development.”
Keith Howells, Group chairman said: “The Sunday Times Best Big Companies is becoming increasingly competitive and to be included in the top 25 for the sixth year in a row is a fantastic achievement for Mott MacDonald. As a company we continually aim to provide our staff with an environment for both working and learning and this result is a testament to those efforts.”
Mott MacDonald’s high ranking status on the list follows news that the consultancy has achieved the Best Companies One Star Accreditation for 2012. This recognises the company as having first class workplace engagement practices, including exceptional motivation, inspiration and staff retention levels.
The Best Companies survey is recognised as one of the UK's most prominent surveys of workplace engagement and satisfaction based on the responses of over 231,599 employees across 1082 companies.
