Mott MacDonald first worked in the Middle East in the early 1900’s when one of the company’s founders, Sir Murdoch MacDonald was involved in developing irrigation systems in the Nile Basin.
Now we have 1050 staff operating in Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE offering total project delivery in transport, water, environment, power, industry, buildings, health and education, oil, gas and petrochemicals, all while keeping a sharp focus on economy, buildability, functionality and sustainability.
We have strong in-house capabilities in undertaking specialist sustainability assessments including LEED, Estidama, GSAS, BREEAM and CEEQUAL International. We've also been engaged to develop bespoke assessment tools and assist in drafting national green buildings policy. Mott MacDonald is recognised internationally as a knowledge leader in this field.
