director. John will be responsible for the ongoing development of
the consultancy’s global employment strategy and processes,
succession and talent management, and recruitment throughout the
Group.

Commenting on his appointment, John said: “Mott MacDonald is the UK’s largest employee-owned management, engineering and development consultancy. Its success is driven by its people and it is therefore essential that we have a skilled and engaged workforce. The company has developed strong programmes and systems for talent management in its traditional markets. I will be working to extend that approach to developing talent internationally and helping people to be more globally mobile. To achieve this we will be putting energy into making sure the company has the right HR skills to achieve this. I am looking forward to helping attract and retain great talent for Mott MacDonald around the world.”
Richard Williams, Mott MacDonald’s managing director said: “We welcome John to our company. He brings a wealth of experience, both in the UK and internationally. His knowledge and expertise will ensure Mott MacDonald continues to fulfil its global strategy, providing first class expertise to service our clients locally, wherever they are around the world.”
John is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development as well as a member of the CBI HR Forum.
