2008 Construction’s Future Leaders Awards on 28 March. Alistair received the award at a presentation held at the Tate Modern Gallery, London, attended by many leading industry figures.

The contest saw a field of over 400 entrants from the engineering, contracting, architecture and quantity surveying professions whittled down to ten in each category. Alistair was one of five
Mott MacDonald staff to power through two knock-out rounds to make the shortlist of ten finalists in the engineering category.

Chair of judges and managing editor of NCE, Jackie Whitelaw, said, “Future Leaders is all about identifying individuals with the brilliance and charisma to become tomorrow’s chairmen and CEOs, and Alistair is the real deal. The finalists for the award glittered, but Alistair dazzled.”
