Education

Nigerian schoolchildrenOur specialist education consultancy, Cambridge Education, is helping Nigeria educate all of its children as part of the leading Education Sector Support Programme in Nigeria (ESSPIN)We are committed to working with all stakeholders in education to help improve the quality of education, the standards achieved by pupils and the learning environment for children and young people.

Through our consultants in Cambridge Education we have an impressive record in school improvement activities world wide, providing the skills and services that enable teachers to concentrate on their primary objective – pupils’ learning.

In the UK we also have a leading reputation in providing professional technical advisory services to public sector bodies, financiers, developers, constructors, operators and insurers using PFI and other procurement methods for new education facilities – such as the government’s Building Schools for the Future and Academies programmes. Added to this we’re able to deliver all engineering aspects of schools and other educational buildings.

By combining our knowledge of key issues in the education sector with our technical skills and in-depth appreciation of strategic initiatives, we’re able to provide an holistic service embracing education consultancy and management, project procurement and management, technical advisory, building design and delivery, construction economics and risk management.

In many areas of the world we’re also involved in the development of best practice and school improvement through our not-for-profit arm Cambridge Education Foundation, which contributes to debate through consultation with governments, participation in international conferences and collaboration with universities, schools and education authorities. The Foundation is a consortium partner of the Global School Partnerships set up by the UK’s Department for International Development.
