Institute (KIT) and TB Reach Secretariat, our health consultants at
HSLP are helping to increase case detection of tuberculosis
and its treatment around the worldAt Mott MacDonald we
provide technical assistance, consulting and project and programme
management services to the health sector in the UK and in other low
and middle-income countries, through our specialist consultants in
HLSP.We run various health programmes and work with healthcare providers, commissioners, government and agencies to improve the design and delivery of health services. We are preferred suppliers for the English Department of Health, NHS Wales Delivery and Support Unit and the Welsh Assembly Health and Social Care Department Consultancy Services Frameworks. Internationally, HLSP works in partnership with governments, bilateral and multilateral agencies, United Nations agencies, global health partnerships, foundations and private sector organisations. HLSP’s expertise spans all aspects of health systems strengthening – from health policy and planning to sector financing, service delivery, governance and institutional develop-ment – and public health, including communicable diseases, maternal and neonatal health, sexual and reproductive health.
HLSP manages long-term projects and programmes for international partners, and assists them in procuring and managing short-term technical assistance. The HLSP-managed DFID Human Development Resource Centre and AusAID Health Resource Facility provide short-term technical advisory services in health and HIV. HLSP shares lessons from its our work and contributes to global health debates through a dedicated team of experts established to support its technical excellence.
Mott MacDonald’s work in health infrastructure development centres on privately financed projects. Whatever the procurement route, be it PPP or PFI, we have built an enviable reputation specifically in the UK, where projects include the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, West Middlesex University Hospital and two facilities for the £220 million Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust.
