Mott MacDonald becomes the first consultancy firm to achieve BS10500 anti-bribery certification
Mott MacDonald has become the first consultancy firm to achieve certification to the new anti-bribery management system standard, BS10500.
Mott MacDonald has appointed Andy Thomas as its head of rail operations to enhance and grow the consultancy’s service offering in this area.
Mott MacDonald is to provide the detailed design for six new metro stations on Phase II of the rapid metro rail network in Gurgaon, India. The metro is being developed by Rapid Metro Rail Gurgaon to help meet the growing transportation requirements between Gurgaon and Delhi.
The Mott MacDonald Grontmij Joint Venture (MMG JV) has been appointed by the Highways Agency to develop proposals for the £160M upgrade of the A63 Castle Street in Hull. The scheme is intended to reduce journey times to the Port of Hull, ease congestion and improve safety on the city centre section of the A63.

Mott MacDonald Group signs up to DFID’s statement of priorities and expectations for suppliers
Mott MacDonald Group has today signed up to the Department for International Development’s (DFID) statement of priorities and expectations for suppliers. The consultant has a proven record in providing value for money, making every pound invested in aid count towards DFID’s goals of eliminating world poverty and promoting sustainable development.
Global engineering, management and development consultant Mott MacDonald is to acquire the Johannesburg-based engineering specialist PD Naidoo & Associates.
Mott MacDonald has been awarded a five year engineering services consultancy contract by Al Khafji Joint Operations of Saudi Arabia covering the maintenance and development of the 40 year old Khafji oil field.
Mott MacDonald has been appointed engineering consultant by the Alstom, TSO and Costain (ATC) joint venture for the fit-out of the new Crossrail tunnels. The JV has won the last major construction contract to be awarded by Crossrail, which will see the commissioning of track and rail systems and turn 21km of twin-bore tunnel currently being constructed under the streets of London into an operational railway.

Mott MacDonald acquiring Habtec Engenharia Ambiental
Mott MacDonald, a leading global engineering, management and development consultancy, is acquiring Brazilian environmental engineering consultancy Habtec Engenharia Ambiental. Acquiring Habtec is part of Mott MacDonald’s strategy to create a regional base in Brazil from where it can expand across South America.
Mott MacDonald is to provide multi-disciplinary engineering services during the INR400 million expansion of a pesticides and herbicides formulation plant in Keshwana, near Kotputli, India. The project will help meet the growing global demand for formulated pesticide products which are important for the sustainable development of agriculture.
