Power
Mott MacDonald has engineered over 100,000MW of power plants around
the world, going back to our first major projects in the late
1890s.
Working in all types of energy generation and power transmission technologies, we take a partnered approach with our customers ensuring that maximum value is added to every project.
We have played a role in some of the world’s biggest installed desalination facilities, much of the privately financed power capacity around the world and over half of the wind energy projects built in the UK. Other projects we have worked on range from Abu Dhabi’s first independent power and water station at Taweelah A2, Pakistan’s award-winning Ghazi-Barotha Hydropower facility and The Netherlands' Princess Amalia Windfarm.
