Transport
Our recognised capability for delivering cutting edge solutions in
transport is strengthened by the fact that we have been
specialising in the field for 107 years. Our portfolio began in
1902 when we helped deliver the world’s first underground railway
in London.
A mere few years later saw the end of another major project – Blackfriars Bridge – and its anniversary in early 2008 coincided with the opening of Heathrow Airport’s new £4.3 billion Terminal 5.
Around the world the Group has achieved resounding success on transport projects by road, rail, sea and air: Hong Kong airport, Taiwan high speed rail project and Jamaica’s Montego Bay cruise terminal expansion, to name but a few.
