As part of our project management role on Bangkok’s metro we inspected and tested equipment such as tunnel boring machines With over a century’s experience embracing all aspects of construction, Mott MacDonald has every skill needed to provide a comprehensive supervision, inspection and commissioning service for all types of projects, on any scale, anywhere in the world.

At Mott MacDonald we’ve supervised construction, installation and commissioning for a huge variety of challenging and demanding projects, from new water supplies for vast cities such as Shanghai and Karachi to oil and gas developments across the Middle East to national and regional transport systems as far afield as Taiwan and the USA.

As well as undertaking supervision services as part of our full suite of services for project planning, design and delivery, we also provide this capability in a specialist capacity. One of our latest assignments for example is to assist Yooshin Engineering Corporation in supervising the construction of a US$1.6 billion fixed link from the Korean mainland near Busan to the Island of Geoje.

Mott MacDonald also has a long track record in providing specialist advice to project teams and customer organisations around the world on all aspects of site supervision and construction management, including safety, offshore manufacture, quality and environmental management and management systems. We’ve also worked closely with local consultants, contractors and customers to help establish models for improving construction management and supervision skills, as well as providing structured training through on-the-job programmes by resident advisors, supported by visiting specialists and study tours.
