Business in the Community’s Race at Work campaign
Working with race specialists from the Prince’s Responsible Business Network has helped us to meet our commitments from the Race at Work Charter which we signed up to in 2019. Our account manager has joined us for a number of workshops, and delivered 'Let’s talk about race’ sessions for colleagues.
Business Disability Forum
We are working with the not-for-profit member organisation Business Disability Forum, which supports organisations to do business with and employ disabled people. Business Disability Forum provides pragmatic support by sharing expertise, giving advice, providing training and facilitating networking opportunities.
Royal Academy of Engineering Diversity and Inclusion Leadership (DILG) groups
The Royal Academy’s Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Group (DLG) was established in 2013 as a collaborative group of around 40 engineering employers, institutions and sector skills councils, to take action to increase diversity across engineering. Mott MacDonald supports the DLGs which have focused on recruitment, measurement, procurement, communications and the inclusive cultures project.
Women’s Engineering Society (WES)
Through our membership with the Women’s Engineering Society (WES) female colleagues can access mentoring schemes with external mentors as well as wider career enhancing networking opportunities.
We have partnered with Work 180, an organisation advocating for working women and providing job applicants with a transparent directory of endorsed employers who support equality, diversity and inclusion. We work closely with them on initiatives such as ‘Super Daughter Day’ and their regular series of podcasts and blogs.
