This Investment Strategy PT is a joint programme of the City Region of Amsterdam, the Municipality of Amsterdam and GVB (the municipal public transport company) and comprises a total investment of €590M.
These PT infrastructure projects are implemented within a complex environment, in terms of spatial planning and organisation, and clearly require careful project planning as well as a transparent organisational structure to enable seamless communication between the members of he project team. The governance structure provides guidelines and commitments on how to participate effectively, offering clarity at an early stage of the development phases and the different roles of the programme and project managers and the programme’s promoter. In addition, the structure aims to enhance the confidence in the project implementation, provide solutions for handling potential problems and managing the control and monitoring of the programme and its planning.
Mott MacDonald is the process manager for the programme and administrative implementation of the governance structure.
Based on a thorough problem analysis, we've provided clear process steps to build the foundations for a broadly supported framework of agreements. Following administrative approval, we'll assisting the implementation of the agreement framework in the organisations.
