Why did you decide to join Mott MacDonald?
I joined Mott MacDonald because I wanted to advance my career with a world class consultancy firm actively involved in providing consultancy service within the railway transportation industry.
Mott MacDonald is well respected and well recognised in Malaysia, and has recently been awarded the high-speed rail project between Malaysia and Singapore. I have been provided with the exposure and opportunity to grow and gain experience at an international level.
What is the best thing about your role?
I’m happy to be given the chance to be the project manager for a recently awarded diesel multiple unit project. I am also actively involved in the tendering of new projects and it is an exciting time whereby we have successfully won two rolling stock contracts within a period of one month.

I enjoy travelling, watching the weekend football game, and occasionally doing some home cooking and gardening.
Where is your favourite place?
Melbourne in Australia during the spring and autumn, it has nice weather, good food and a relaxing environment.
What inspires you at work?
There are a few things that motivate me in my work. Performing tasks that I enjoy, providing solutions with my knowledge and experience, and getting recognition for job well done.
