Why did you decide to join Mott MacDonald?
I joined Mott MacDonald because I wanted to work in a world class consultancy which would help enhance my skills. With the company’s passion for technology along with its digital initiative, there could not have been a better place to showcase my skills and move forward towards my career goals. So when the opportunity of working as a graduate technology consultant opened I grasped it without wasting any time.
What is the best thing about your role?
The best thing about being a technology consultant is the exposure to the variety of new and innovative technology. It is a diverse and unconventional role where I get to interact and meet a lot of people and work on innovative projects. Introducing my colleagues to modern technology and seeing how it helps in delivering projects is really satisfying.

Nurturing. It is a fantastic place to work, here you are given the freedom of expressing your ideas and aspirations and they are respected and supported by senior staff in every viable way.
What advice about the recruitment process would you offer to other graduates looking to work at Mott MacDonald?
Research about the sectors and the type of projects taken up by Mott MacDonald and be honest about your passion during the selection process. If you express you passions you will be given the opportunity. Also keep your answers short and to the point on your application form.
How long have you worked for Mott MacDonald, and what has been your proudest achievement to date?
I have been working at Mott MacDonald for the past 10 months. My proudest achievement to date is being recognised by senior management for my confidence and soft skills.
What is your favourite pastime?
Reading and doing volunteer work at animal shelters. Spending time with animals - particularly dogs - is a stress buster for me.
Where is your favourite place?
My favourite destination is Goa. It has been my family vacation spot for over a decade now. It’s breathtakingly refreshing, like home away from home.
What inspires you at work?
My work inspires me. Getting recognition on a job well done and interacting with people motivates me. Just the fact that even at such an early stage of my career my inputs can make a difference not only for the business but in creating a better and sustainable future is very satisfying.
