Why did you decide to join Mott MacDonald?
I joined Mott MacDonald after completing a summer internship here and was attracted by the opportunities and support that the company provides for professional development.
What is the best thing about your role?
The best thing is knowing that the work we do has both direct and indirect impacts on society. From the concept stage to design execution, every detail plays a crucial part in creating value in what we do.
How would you describe the culture of Mott MacDonald?
The culture within Mott MacDonald is accommodating, and it encourages employees to engage in professional development to improve our quality of work. What I find exciting is that a healthy lifestyle is heavily promoted with a variety of activities to choose from across the week.
What have you found out about Mott MacDonald since you joined?
I love the company as well as the people. It is one of the few places where can you work, integrate well and have fun together.
Are you involved with any charities or do any volunteer work?
Participating in volunteer work allows me to interact with people from different backgrounds and has provided me with a platform to contribute back to society in my own way. I give performances to large audiences as well as staged performances for the National Day Parade in Singapore and SEAGAMES in Myanmar.
Where is your favourite place?
Iceland has been my favourite travel destination so far, especially the trip around the Golden Circle route. The landscape there portrays the beauty of nature at its best. Possibly the best getaway I've ever had.
