Why did you decide to join Mott MacDonald?
I joined Mott MacDonald as I wanted to work for a big organisation, which takes social responsibility seriously and cares about their staff. I also thought, with all the exciting projects Mott MacDonald is involved in, it would be an interesting place to work.
What is the best thing about your role?
I love that I get to start peoples' careers, whether as an apprentice or a graduate.
How would you describe the culture of Mott MacDonald?
Mott MacDonald has a very friendly culture. It's a very enjoyable place to work.
Mott MacDonald is committed to the development of staff, and encourages people to drive their career. I have been at Mott MacDonald for nearly five years and have had a variety of roles, having worked in two different departments.

Our people, everyone is incredibly helpful and committed to creating a great work environment.
Being employee owned also makes the company stand out. I think it has a massive impact on our culture, and explains why it is such an enjoyable place to work. Being employee owned means that sustainability and ethics are integral to the work we do.
What is one thing you’ve found out about Mott MacDonald from working here that you think everyone should know?
That it is a fantastic place to work! You get the opportunity to work with many friendly and interesting people – I find it fascinating to hear about the projects that many of my colleagues are working on.
When you’re not in the office where can you be found?
Having a bbq on Brighton beach, or playing volleyball.
Do you have a hidden talent? If so what is it?
I am pretty good a juggling…I can juggle and hula hoop at the same time.
Do you have any advice for students or graduates applying?
I would recommend that you do research about Mott MacDonald, and the type of projects we are involved in. We really want to see that you have a passion for your future and are really interested in working on our projects.
