The Mott MacDonald India Graduate Development Programme is a structured professional development programme designed to encourage and develop graduates to achieve set organization objectives. The programme aims to provide a highly satisfying, well-structured learning and development path to ensure higher levels of employee satisfaction and help graduates in their career path. In this programme graduates are offered a consistently high level of monitoring by our experienced mentors who will guide, inspire, advise and review the activities of the graduates on the programme. All graduates will have access to an online monitoring system called UpGRADe. The development activities and competency assessment of the graduates will be timely recorded in the system by the mentors. This can be a grounding for those aiming to acquire membership to various professional institutions in different sectors.

Can I apply for more than one graduate role?
In short - yes but we don't recommend it. While our system allows you to apply for more than one position, we prefer that you apply to the role that you are most interested in. By applying for multiple positions you imply that you are not committed to one particular area. You should be able to establish from the information provided which role you meet the criteria for but more importantly which area matches your skill set and your career aspirations. Please also remember that you can contact us if you're still unsure.
When would you want me to start and what happens when I join?
We have fixed start dates for each month between April and September. To make sure you settle in when you join us you will be assigned a “buddy” who will assist you with the induction process to the company and your office. You will also be assigned an experienced mentor who is there to supervise all aspects of your professional development.
Do you offer a relocation package when I join?
We don't offer a financial relocation package however, most offices offer to cover bed and breakfast costs for up to one week. Our graduate community is also available to offer advice if you are unfamiliar with the area you are moving to.
Who should I address my cover letter to?
Please address your cover letter to the 'Graduate recruitment team'. Use your covering letter as an opportunity for you to introduce yourself to us. We recommend you write between 3-4 paragraphs. Please refer to our application tips for more advice on applying.
Can I save my application as a draft?
Yes! If you start your application and want to save it for later you can 'Save as draft' and it will be kept in your account for 30 days. To get back to it you need to log in to your account which you can access via the Sign in page.
If you experience any problems please contact the India graduate recruitment team.
What are the minimum requirements to apply to Mott MacDonald as a graduate?
To apply for this scheme you will have less than 24 months experience and have achieved a percentage of 60 and above.
If my application is unsuccessful for one graduate role, can I apply again for another graduate role?
If you are unsuccessful in your application you will be unable to apply again this year, but we would welcome your application for our graduate vacancies next year.
Once I have applied, when can I expect to receive feedback from the graduate recruitment team on my application?
