Why did you choose to join Mott Macdonald?

Mott MacDonald has been known to me for many years as a world class engineering consultancy. The security in belonging to a well-known firm involved in unique projects across the world that I can recruit for attracted me to join.

What is the best thing about your job?

I enjoy the challenges involved in working across regions and across various time zones with internal teams and externals candidates. It makes me feel like a truly global employee of a global company.

How would you describe the culture of Mott Macdonald?

To me working in Mott MacDonald has been an enriching experience. I have autonomy in my work and support when I need it. The open-door policy followed by our managers is the best thing about our culture.

What has been your most memorable project?

We conducted a recruitment drive for the Power team in India (Mumbai) in November 2012. This was an exciting and challenging project with a great success rate. Apart from that, each hiring process for starters across the three regions I work for has also been a memorable experience in itself.

What is the best thing about living in Singapore?

Singapore is a safe place to live and is a melting pot of many cultures. This atmosphere is most conducive to bringing up children who can learn how to integrate with people from all walks of life, at a very young age.

When you’re not in the office where can you be found?

I love to spend time with my 4 years old son and my hubby.  We go for a swim or for a walk in the park or watch a movie at home when it’s raining. I also love to watch “Master Chef Australia”, so you will find me in front of the TV when that is on, for sure! Of course, don’t ask me how many of those dishes I can actually cook!
