Why did you decide to join Mott MacDonald?
I’ve always wanted to work on exciting, sustainable projects around the world, so saw Mott MacDonald as the best place to make this happen. Starting my career here has also given me the chance to work alongside industry experts, who have offered lots of learning and development support.
What is the best thing about your role?
So far I have been involved in projects across a wide range of sectors, including underground metro, industrial and commercial. I’m also part of Mott MacDonald’s Indian Global Design Centre, which means that I get to work on projects in places such as the United Kingdom, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand. This variety of work gives me global exposure and further boosts my knowledge and expertise.
My first step towards chartership was encouraged by my managers and I created awareness about the benefits of chartership thus finding new ways of improving business performance.
How would you describe the culture of Mott MacDonald?
The culture at Mott MacDonald is very supportive and people are connected in such a way that anyone is easily approachable at all levels; this provides opportunities to link with people across the globe through projects or professional networking. I am able to contact my colleagues regarding my work, irrespective of their location.
