Why did you choose to join Mott MacDonald?

Mott MacDonald, being a world leading engineering and design consultancy, where there was a clear strategy for growth which was supported by a global mind-set, one vision and one set of values embedded in every part of the business, made it an easy choice. I also wanted to join a growing diversified team, full of possibility.

What is the best thing about your job?

The best part of my job as an experienced professional is facing new challenges and finding solutions on a vast range of exciting projects in a dynamic environment where you can really make a difference.

Managing civil 3D resources, mentoring, training and CAD/BIM support for technical projects within the division.

Preparing outline and detailed designs for water and wastewater projects with a strong technical focus and proactive approach to CAD/BIM development within our water and environmental divisions.

As a key civil 3D BIM practitioner, I am also responsible for BIM coordination and development throughout the water and environment divisions extending across the Group.

I also run a civil 3D user group within our water and environment business.

What do you enjoy doing while away from the office?

Spending time with my two lovely daughters, Chanelle and Kelly.

Have you been involved in any charities or done any volunteer work, please explain your involvement?

I'm involved in volunteer work as part of the Connect Team at Cambridge Community Church. The aim of the Connect Team is to make people feel welcome at every service and help people to engage socially with others they might not have met before.
