This electrical engineering role is to support client projects from inception through to commissioning and final completion. Aspects of the work include advisory and working from a client project brief to engineer electrical solutions compliant with international and client-specific standards. Typical projects will include working from a client brief to produce tender specifications, designs and drawings for new or renovated mini-grids, micro-grids, electrification, 11kV switchgear networks and connections with HV cable connections, transformers, diesel generators, load banks, LV interfaces, SCADA interfaces and protection schemes with a mixture of electro-mechanical and numerical relays. The design will take account of ground conditions, existing building layouts and include multicore cabling and earthing.
