Job Description

Our Power Thermal Generation (PTG) division provides world wide expertise in technical, commercial, project management, design, environmental and energy advisory services in all aspects of thermal power generation, cogeneration, CHP and desalination. Currently, we have a pipeline of prospective projects requiring Technical Advisory and Owners Engineer skills in the Energy from Waste (EfW) sector. An opportunity exists within our south east Asia offices for a sector leader with relevant EfW power plant development and execution experience. The role will be to deal directly with the clients whilst building and managing a team in our Singapore office and potentially at site during the construction supervision phases of new or on going projects. As sector leader you will be responsible for the delivery of the 'day to day' activities of EfW projects, including client relationships, resource management and project budgetary performance.

Candidate Specification

Candidates for the role of EfW sector leader should hold a degree or equivalent and have experience in either, or both, front end EfW project conception/development and project delivery through to handover to the client.

Experience in the construction, commissioning or operation of power-plants utilising EfW is essential.

Candidates should also be able to demonstrate their experience in a project management or business development position.

Candidate will need to co-ordinate with other parts of the Mott MacDonald business involved in the wider waste sector. Experience of new development, pre-bid technical advisory support, preparation of plant specifications, evaluation of tenders, design review, construction, commissioning procedures and/or plant operation would be beneficial.

Travel will be required.
