Senior Bentley Technician

Job Profile

We are looking for enthusiastic and talented team players to join our established operation in Singapore. This role is for a Senior BIM Technician with Bentley experience to support in the delivery of major infrastructure projects.

Job Description

Working as an integral part of the Civil and Structural team, initially on Transport sector projects, your duties will include:
  • Production of structural BIM models and drawings,
  • Coordination of the structural BIM model with other disciplines,
  • Assist the BIM Manager and project team with BIM model federation, clash detection and resolution,
  • Interpret design intent sketches provided by the project engineers,
  • Assist the Digital Delivery team with BIM standards development and implementation,
  • Assist the Digital Delivery team with development of BIM component library,
  • Ensure that company and project specific model and drawing standards are complied with,
  • Checking models and drawings for formal submission purposes,
  • Manage junior BIM modellers and technicians, including quality control checking against company and project specific standards,
  • Assist with the training of junior BIM modellers and technicians.

Candidate Specification

The successful candidate will:
  • hold a Diploma or Degree in Civil / Structural or Architecture, and ideally you will have completed an additional certificated BIM Modelling or similar course,
  • hold a minimum 5 years of experience, with a proven track record of contributing to successful BIM project delivery,
  • be proficient in the use of Bentley suite BIM programmes (e.g. Aecosim, Microstation, Navigator),
  • have knowledge of Bentley MXRoad / OpenRoad / RailTrack,
  • be familiar with Singapore BCA BIM e-submission and guidelines,
  • be reliable, self-motivated, and have a ‘can-do’ attitude,
  • have strong communication skills and thrive working as part of a team.

Initially supporting the BIM Manager and Digital Delivery team, you will be looking to progress towards a BIM Manager role in the future.

Immediate availability and additional working knowledge of Autodesk Revit will be an advantage.
