Job Description

Key responsibilities and duties of this position include:
  • To work and communicate with all parties involved in the operational performance of the project.
  • To be fully familiar with all technical aspects of the project within the area of responsibility
  • Active participation in the continual improvement process to ensure technical excellence.
  • Review of Project planning, scheduling, and monitoring’
  • Review of design
  • Coordination with team members for their timely and quality output
  • Coordination with other stakeholders
  • Superintendence of works
  • Witnessing of testing and commissioning
  • Preparation of progress reports

The key challenges include:
  • Ability to communicate knowledgably in all aspects of the project.
  • Maintaining brand reputation whilst undertaking the project (both with this Group key client and in the wider industry).
  • Identifying, building and maintaining key relationships both internally within Mott MacDonald and externally with key client.

Candidate Specification

  • Holds an engineering degree in Civil from a recognised reputed university.
  • 20+ years experience in the Railway / Transport / Infrastructure Project.
  • 3 years of international experience in railway projects with modern technology.
  • Proven track record in the delivery of signalling engineering solutions.
