Job Description

About the role;

As a senior civil engineer, you will work on the full lifecycle of the project and we can offer an excellent opportunity for you to further develop your technical skills and management skills, with excellent long-term potential to advance your career in a highly innovative and collaborative environment. We are building a team to work as part of the Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water (DCWW) capital delivery alliance, delivering a £170m/yr capital programme across the DCWW region, which includes a £45 million sludge project. MMB undertake design and construction activities, working closely alongside DCWW and the other alliance partners.

You will be senior civil engineer on this prestigious project, working as part of a large, experienced, and motivated multi-disciplinary team, preparing and managing the preparation of detailed and final engineering designs. You will also represent MMB in technical meetings with DCWW and coordinate inputs from other disciplines, ensuring an appropriate integrated solution.

Candidate Specification

About You;

• Qualified civil design engineer (Chartered or working towards Chartership)
• UK water/wastewater non-infrastructure experience, knowledge of non-infrastructure wastewater assets is required with a good working knowledge of the sludge treatment process
• Strong commercial awareness
• Experience of delivering design projects to program
• Demonstrable experience of delivering innovation
• Proactive approach, with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios
• A good level of process engineering knowledge
