Job Profile

Situated just a few minutes from the station, with waterfront views and a central location you will find our new Bristol office.

Job Description

You will be providing support to senior managers and a wider team helping with the smooth day to day running of the office.

Other duties will include:
  • Be aware at all times of team members diaries and respond positively to assist staff or external parties seeking to contact a member of the team.
  • Full range of copy based typing duties for the members teams.
  • Booking travel arrangements and assist in compiling itineraries where necessary.
  • Maintain a system of controlling inflow of documents, including developing an understanding of the relative importance of material, ensuring that relevant people have seen documents, and tracking through to action and filing/archiving stages.
  • Assist in managing correspondence and documentation sent and/or received electronically in accordance with office standard filing procedures.
  • Provide support to the accounts department.
  • To assist with reception including answering and filtering telephone calls.

Candidate Specification

The successful applicant should have a minimum of 5 standard GCSE grades or equivalent, to include Maths and English and preferably (though not essential) previous reception/administration experience in a professional organisation.

Key skills required are:
  • Outgoing and confident with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Know when to seek help and support from others when assisting clients and team managers
  • Be courteous, polite and well presented at all times demonstrating an ability to be helpful and work within group guidelines.
  • Work with full attention to detail and remain calm and patient when working under pressure.
  • Efficient and well organised
  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative
  • Computer literate
