Project - Government of India is implementing a Dedicated Freight Corridor project (DFCC). The Work on the Eastern section of the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFCC) between Mughal Sarai and Bhaupur (approx. 402 Kms) is to be constructed as an electrified (2 x 25kV AC - 50 Hz) double track railway, capable of operating at a maximum train speed of 100km/h.
Mott MacDonald's role is for project management consultancy for the above mentioned project.
As Quantity Surveyor following duties as follows:
Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly progress reports.
RFIs-making proper coordination with the field staff.
Monitoring contractor’s Payment Process.
Daily monitoring the quantity measurements of the executed works.
Conduct Independent measurements of the works and check calculations of quantities.
Preparation of Contractor Bills/IPA/IPC (Interim Payment Applications/Certificates).
Projecting requirement of materials for the project.
Preparation of Cross Section and construction drawings.
Preparation/calculation of extension of time (EOT).
Documentation like preparation of progress reports to the clients and Independent consultant overall contract administrator including calculation of rate analysis and Billings.
Preparation of Bills of Quantities, Cost Estimate, Rate Analysis to assist in the tender process.
Assessment of Contractor’s progress/delay financial/contractual claims.
Assessment of Variations of the various quantities.
Assessment of the final Project Cost.
Preparation and valuation of progress and final payments in connection with any contract or sub-contract.
