Job Description

Our Melbourne team is seeking a Project Manager, who will primarily focus on managing projects that revolve around the development and delivery of professional learning in the K-12 school education sector. This includes face-to-face as well as blended learning delivery methods.
As such this role requires demonstrable experience in project management as part of, or to the school education system.
The successful candidate will be required to oversee state-wide delivery, manage complex logistics, work closely with our program facilitators, and establish and monitor participant registrations and participant satisfaction through program evaluations.
Key duties and responsibilities of this role include:
• End-to-end project management, from project establishment through to evaluation and including managing of project budgets and cash flow
• Manage delivery of state wide professional learning programs, including blended learning to the school education sector
• Monitor and report against budgets, timeframes and other contract KPIs
• Coordination of vendors, suppliers and facilitators, including contract administration
• Stakeholder and client liaison
• Participate and/or manage Project Control/Client and Stakeholder meetings
• Ability to estimate costs for new projects and assist with bids and propsoals
• Ability to plan, arrange and deliver venues and facilities suitable for learning workshops

Candidate Specification

To be successful in this role you will require:
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in a project management role with experience in project management in the schooling system
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects within a corporate learning or education environment that uses online learning tools
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, including project management certification, PMI, PRINCE2 or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects effectively, and to meet tight timelines
• Experience in building and managing stakeholder relationships
• Proven ability to take full accountability for scope, budget, and schedule
• Proficient with Microsoft suite of products
• Strong understanding of information and communication technology (ICT)
in particular the delivery of learning based delivery systems
• Demonstrated experience of working effectively in teams that have met demanding targets and timelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail
• Working knowledge of a learning management system such as Moodle or Canvas
