Human Resources Assistant - 6 months Fixed Term

Job Description

  • End to end onboarding process including payroll, contracts, references, HR systems, induction, 4 week/month reviews are completed, probationary letters are produced and any issues are escalated.
  • End to end off boarding process including processing resignations, payroll and conducting and analysing exit interviews and reasons for leaving
  • Mobility and international assignments including all admin duties, and liaising with key stakeholders to ensure an effective process is carried out
  • Prepare documentation and letters for contractual changes including but not limited to extensions, transfers, study agreements, promotions, and salary increases; ensuring that relevant spreadsheets are updated and maintained and internal colleagues and departments including payroll and HRIS are kept informed such changes.
  • Responsible for wellbeing transactional activities including reporting and chasing return to work forms for Attendanceline escalating to the HR Advisor where necessary. Produce Vocational Health Referral paperwork and liaise with managers and employees on recommendations when required.
  • Advise on maternity and paternity queries and flexible working requests as required.
  • Assist with obtaining visa's when required, ensure first day compliance “right to work” checks and annual checks are carried out, maintaining relevant spread sheets and ensuring company processes are followed.
  • Input staff changes to the HR database and retrieve data to support the business, running reports to support board meetings eg: turnover, utilization etc
  • Assist senior HR colleagues with employee relation casework as and when required.
  • End to end payroll process liaising with other departments such as HRIS, Finance and Tax departments to ensure compliance.
  • Attend Admin forum meetings as required, feeding back to and undertaking actions on behalf of, the wider team as appropriate.

  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Basic HR experience
