Job Description

Your Next Challenge
  • Develop strong and robust client relationships
  • Grow and develop key Accounts within Mott MacDonald in response to organisation needs and Mott MacDonald strategy
  • Identify opportunities and turning them into Prospects
  • Drive the bidding process, converting Prospects into Projects ensuring bids are technically and commercially sound
  • Deliver commercially robust projects and quality outcomes for Client's to budget on schedule through project teams
  • Manage risk and commercial performance on the projects within the Account. You may have several Bid and Project Principals/Directors reporting to you
  • Promote account leadership across the wider business
  • Work effectively with Resource Managers and the Sector / Practice Leaders to bring the right resources to deliver the project to the Client's satisfaction and meet Mott MacDonald's profit or contribution targets
  • Run appropriate account meetings with client and senior level management involvement
  • Address client's issues and fulfil their aspirations on sustainability

Candidate Specification

  • As Account Leader you will be expected to win great work, grow the account to maximise opportunity for Mott MacDonald, and be accountable for the delivery of excellent projects.
  • You will provide support ensuring that client's projects are delivered to time, cost and quality and that Mott MacDonald is commercially successful.
  • As Account Leader you will play a lead role in gaining trust with our clients and key stakeholders.
  • Account Leaders have a wide network of stakeholder to manage including Client representatives, internal managers, bid teams, project managers and Practice Leaders.
  • Where appropriate you will work with and support Key Account Leaders, where a Client is complex and requires the attention of more than one Mott MacDonald Division or Unit.
