Among our projects across the country, we undertook due diligence and cost management services on projects in the 2014 Winter Olympics venue of Sochi and on the development of a number of shopping malls. We provided funding advice on the renovation of St. Petersburg’s prestigious Ramada Pushkin hotel. One of our sustainability projects involved designing the first commercial building in Russia to be awarded a Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) rating for environmental performance.
Our recent experience includes water treatment, benchmarking of utilities for energy efficiency and environmental impact, technologies reviews, river water quality monitoring and assessment, and support of municipal supply and wastewater works.
We recently acted as technical advisor to the City of St. Petersburg on Russia’s first privately financed water project, for the abstraction and treatment of 211 million gallons (800,000 cubic meters) of water per day, meeting a third of the city’s water demand.
Our health team helped improve access to better-quality healthcare in the country. The Nizhny Novgorod/UK’s Department for International Development partnership program focused on enabling local government to mobilize a multisectoral response to addressing HIV/AIDS. This partnership works to reduce poverty and improve quality of life while seeking to establish Nizhny Novgorod as one of the country’s leading regions in HIV and AIDS prevention.
Our education experts have been helping managers undertake an EU management training program designed to promote Western business culture and provide direct training through internships in leading companies.
