Overview of role

 

The Employment Taxes Manager will work with the Group Head of Tax and the wider Tax and Finance functions on UK employment tax compliance and advisory projects for the UK and Europe region as well as ad hoc projects for the wider Global business.

 

Current and potential future projects:

  • Managing preparation of Forms P11D for UK business
  • Preparing the business for real time reporting of taxable benefits with effect from April 2026
  • Managing the preparation of the annual PAYE Settlement Agreement
  • Advising on taxable benefits generally and on tax implications related to employee expense claims
  • Advising on tax aspects of termination benefits
  • Assisting with management and assessment of off-payroll workers using licensed software
  • General advisory on employment tax matters affecting the Group
  • Involvement in the design and roll-out of new expense claim platform with Finance Systems team
  • Ad Hoc advisory to UK payroll team and Global Mobility team as and when required
  • Working with HR, finance and payroll teams around the Europe region to determine local tax treatment of specific regional proposals

 


Essential 
 

  • Recognised accountancy or tax qualification with 2-5 years PQE in employment taxes
  • Good practical knowledge of employment tax matters with a focus on UK PAYE processes and reporting
  • Can analyse/review data, process map and train/advise local finance teams to ensure accurate compliance is achieved

 

Desirable

  • Consultancy sector experience in an international context
