Job Description :
Tasks will include:
• Preparation of estimates and cost plans in line with the brief and design as it develops
• Preparation of standard documentation – quantity take-offs, reports, valuations, letters • Supporting the preparation of tender and contract documents and participating in contract reviews relating to the contract with the customer
• Analysis of tender returns and preparing tender reports
• Supporting the preparation of valuations and interim applications; re-measure as necessary and adjust variations
• Supporting the settlement of construction disputes and preparing final accounts
• Remote attendance at appropriate design team and progress meetings as and when required
Candidate Specification :
Essential skills and experiences:
• Degree qualified in a Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering subject (or equivalent)
• 5+ years of relevant experience • Good command of Excel
Desirable skills and experiences:
• Experience in data collection and analysis including presentation of relevant information in a suitable format
• Proven skills and experience of delivering within a Cost Consultancy
• Competent at building relationships both with internal management and externally with key client and stakeholders
• CostX / PowerBI / SharePoint experience
• Experience in relevant sectors: residential, mixed-used development, and/or transportation related development
