Key Accountabilities
- Conducting comprehensive business analysis and requirements to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Actively engaging and collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of IM strategies and policies, ensuring that they are in alignment with MM’s business objectives.
- Ensuring that the IM program aligns with MM's compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks.
- Providing critical support in transitioning the IM program into Business As Usual (BAU) operations, ensuring that the program's benefits are sustained over the long term.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Actively engage with stakeholders to gather and document comprehensive business requirements for the IM program, ensuring alignment with MM's strategic objectives.
- IM architecture and analysis: Map and analyse IM systems to identify gaps and inefficiencies, providing actionable insights for improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the Program Lead IM, regional KI Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the IM program meets the diverse needs of the business.
- Compliance and Governance: Assist in ensuring that the IM program complies with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, including GDPR and other data protection laws. Work closely with the legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks.
- Performance Metrics: Develop, implement and monitor a set of key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness and impact of the IM program, providing regular updates to the Program Lead IM and other stakeholders as required.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for the IM program, including business requirements, data analysis reports, and compliance assessments and any other documentation that may be required for audit and governance purposes.
- Transition Support: Assist in transitioning the IM program into ongoing governance activities. Work closely with the Program Lead IM and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth handover to BAU operations, thereby ensuring the program's long-term sustainability.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience
- Proven experience in business analysis, preferably within an information asset management or data governance context.
- Familiarity with data protection laws and regulations, such as GDPR.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
Knowledge/skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
