Mott MacDonald’s specialist education consultancy, Cambridge Education, is participating in the 13th UKFIET Conference from 15-17 September at the University of Oxford, UK.
The conference theme is “Learning for Sustainable Futures – Making the Connections” and is tied closely to the UN Sustainable Development Goals which are due to be agreed by member states this month. The goals promote a vision of sustainable futures through ending poverty, protecting the planet and ensuring prosperity for all. The UKFIET Conference will consider what this vision means for education and learning, and the contribution education can make to realising it.
Cambridge Education is a lead sponsor of the conference and will take part in 17 conference sessions and talks, highlighting some of our work worldwide and discussing key education issues such as teacher development, literacy and skills training. We will also host the welcome reception which provides a useful networking opportunity for UKFIET delegates. All papers will be made available online following the conference at www.camb-ed.com.
UKFIET, The Education and Development Forum, provides a pro-active forum for universities, non-governmental organisations, consultancy groups and professional associations to share ideas, knowledge and expertise. Cambridge Education’s Technical Director, John Martin, is a member of the Executive Committee.
Cambridge Education makes people’s lives better, by strengthening education systems to improve teaching and learning and to enhance children and young people’s lives.
