We are seeking a Track Inspector IV to support a long-term major program for a transportation client in the Washington, DC.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
•Perform daily track inspections, complete track inspection reports, and reports unsafe conditions to the client for immediate action.
•Mentor Track Inspectors as requested by the client management team.
•Comply with client protection and safety/operating rules in the discharge and performance of field duties.
•Must have minimum ten (10) years of experience working for a rail transit agency, or railroad qualified on FRA Class 4 railroad, or have the above with extensive track inspection experience;
•Must have experience with railroad track construction and maintenance;
•Must know and understand track safety standards and apply the knowledge in the field;
•Must be able to document items of non-compliance; and
•Must have appropriate oral and written communication skills.
