Job Description

As Cost Manager your role will involve the delivery of cost and commercial management services.
- Assisting with cost and commercial management assignments including preparation of cost estimates based upon varying levels of design documentation; - Measuring quantities from drawings using AutoCAD and by hand; - Preparing budgets, orders of magnitude estimates and detailed cost plans at all stages of refurbishment and new build projects; - Sourcing base cost data from suppliers and subcontractors; - Providing cost advice to Clients generally; - Attending Client and Project meetings; - Preparing tender and contract documentation - Carrying out tender analysis of bids, preparing reports on findings; - Managing the change control process during the construction stage of projects and preparing cost reports; - Valuing completed work and arranging payments, including the preparation of completion acts - Negotiating with vendors, contractors, sub-contractors and representing the best ethical interests of Mott MacDonald R and our Clients at all times. - Prepare, review and monitor construction programmes and report on progress periodically - Coordinating meetings, setting agendas, attending and minuting meetings - Exercising independent judgment related to day-to-day administration of projects - Project filing and document control - Compose written correspondence - Photo-reporting of projects and maintaining as built records of site progress - Visit sites and comply with all site safety rules and Mott MacDonald health and safety requirements - Prepare for and attend annual Personal Development Reviews (PDR) with line manager in accordance with Mott MacDonald IMS System - Carrying out all project activities in accordance with the Mott MacDonald IMS System - Other adhoc duties

Candidate Specification

- MUST speak Russian and English
- Relevant degree Quantity Surveying OR Cost Management discipline
- Autocad and MS Office computer skills
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
