We are significantly expanding our Tokyo base owing to increased work in our Japan solar business. We are now looking for a number of new staff to join our team to support new and existing projects in Japan and throughout south east Asia.
As a project manager / プロジェクトマネー you will oversee projects and work as an advisor on technical and contractual issues to developers/owners and financiers of independent power projects (IPP) with particular experience on power purchase agreements (PPA) and EPC contracts.
As a project manager / プロジェクトマネー you will have the responsibility for delivering solar energy projects across Japan, drawing upon local resources and from across the global renewable energy team.

Candidate Specification
The successful Solar project manager’s experience will include:
- fluency to a business level in both Japanese and English is a must
- power generation sector (ideally solar energy)
- technical specification and evaluation
- due diligence
- construction monitoring
- operational monitoring of power plants
Candidate should be prepared to undertake short visits within the south east Asia region for project assignments and clients and contractors meetings at short notice as required.
An innovative approach is essential to be successful in this role, together with a flexible attitude and a willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary and multinational team.
