We have long-term goals for our work in power generation and distribution; we’re here for the long haul and strengthening our capability in our chosen sectors. Part of this plan is to bring someone on board to win and deliver frameworks within this sector, and who will help us secure our position as the go-to expert for services in project, programme, and commercial management (PPCM) in this sector.


This new role is critical for building and maintaining our relationships with our clients, planning the accounts, and building a client centric experience. In the UK we want to consolidate and grow the business with the emphasis on winning several significant programmes across power generation and distribution. We’re looking for someone who is steeped in sector knowledge, has a demonstrable track record, and the credentials to win over internal and external stakeholders. Ideally the person in this role will be based in the South West but we will consider other locations.

Job Description

Building relationships, building business
You’ll play a pivotal role in balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders, and you must start as you mean to go on, by developing strong and robust relationships. You will be expected to win great work, spread the word about it, and play a lead role in gaining trust with our clients and key stakeholders. Ideally you will already be recognised as a key player in this sector.

Winning and delivering work
Growing and developing key accounts is essential. You’ll be expected to identify opportunities, develop business plans, and drive the bidding process. When we’ve won the work, you’ll need to deliver quality outcomes for clients through our project teams.


Providing leadership
We need your steady head to keep everyone focused on delivering projects with the people who’ll be benefiting from them in mind. You’ll put together the right team for each job, and will get the best out of them. Be a visible leader and role model, demonstrating and promoting our values and high ethical standards.

Candidate Specification

Have you got what it takes?

You’re the kind of person who prioritises, influences without authority, and doesn’t think twice about working collaboratively. You need to be a leading PPCM practitioner, who can demonstrate they’ve won and lead on major programmes and played an active role in moving a power generation and distribution business forward. We also want someone who has the insight on the opportunities, challenges, and future potential in the market.


You'll need to have:
  • A degree with a further professional qualification
  • Significant experience winning and leading programmes within the sector
  • Presence to interact at the highest levels with clients, government and industry bodies.
