Business development coordinator - Energy (contract - 12 months)

We are looking for a business development assistant to provide support to the business development manager based in Altrincham. The role will be heavily involved in the preparation of proposals tendering for work within nuclear sectors.

Job Description

The role will involve:
  • Working in conjunction with the business development manager, engineers and other managers within the company to help prepare proposal responses within tight deadlines
  • Liaison with third parties outside of the company and first-class communication skills are essential
  • Preparation of marketing material in support of the company presence at exhibitions and other industry events
  • Attendance and company representation at events throughout the UK

Candidate Specification

Candidates will have previous experience of proposal writing within a similar utility, engineering or construction orientated organisation. A history of liaising with engineers and other technical staff is essential as is excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to the work. The role has strong design and marketing elements and so media and design skills are essential. As well as the standard Microsoft office packages you will need specific desktop publishing experience particularly using Adobe In design software.
