Job Description

We are seeking a Utility Coordinator for either of Fuquay-Varina or Raleigh offices. This position will be responsible for utility coordination with multiple agencies such as the NCDOT. Working directly with our project teams to manage utility relocation for the greater North Carolina area.
  • Act as the Mott MacDonald representative with stakeholders, e.g. utilities, clients, agencies, sub-consultants, and partners, in utility relocation matters
  • Coordinate all utility relocation for Mott MacDonald projects
  • Host regular meetings with utility companies
    with respect to Mott MacDonald projects
  • Scheduling of utility relocations
  • Perform field visits and investigations
  • Manage the utility agreements with agencies
  • Project tracking and updates to project management teams

Candidate Specification

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelors or Associates Degrees preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience in utility relocation for transportation related projects
  • Self starter who is able to work independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • High level of organizational and communication skills
