Hydraulic modeller - Wastewater

Job Profile

We have been involved in computer modelling of wastewater networks since the early 1990s, and our modelling team has become highly adept at delivering efficiencies to clients through constant development of new tools and processes. We are continually seeking to improve our service offering, particularly in light of modelling work flowing from our M2 joint venture framework with Scottish Water, and thus are keen to engage a talented modeller to join our team in either Edinburgh or Newcastle.

Job Description

You will work closely with our engineering teams on wastewater and drainage studies, from feasibility through to detailed design stages. You will act in an advisory role across the UK and international markets, operating with a high degree of autonomy and self-reliance.

We can offer an exciting range of project work, and a highly collaborative and supportive environment within which to further develop your career. In terms of progression, we can offer paths towards technical or team leadership, engaging with clients, or a combination thereof.

- Innovative thinker
- Effective communicator, able to put across your ideas in a logical and coherent fashion in both oral presentations and written reports, and able to explain modelling issues and techniques to non-modelling professionals
- Experience of:
  • InfoWorks CS / ICM
