Job Description

Main Purpose of the Job:

As the Resourcing advisor you will play a pivotal role in delivering a pro-active recruitment function for the Middle East South Asia region, across the Energy sector, which encompasses power transmission and generation and oil and gas. Reporting to the Middle East Recruitment manager, you will be responsible for the following key deliverables:

Key Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Sourcing “longlists” of appropriate candidates for the business through both internal and external platforms such as linked-in and gulf talent
  • Conduct first round screening following established format to assist the business to further ascertain the candidate’s suitability for the role
  • Engage in talent pipelining of pre-identified skill-sets, creating a database of those skill sets as directed by the Recruitment manager
  • Assist in identification of external candidates to be used in the tendering process where an internal option is not available
  • Manage and maintain the Brass ring Applicant Tracking System (ATS) through candidate and requisition administration
  • Manage recruitment presence on social media platforms ensuring consistent and high quality job adverts are live, adhering to group brand and employer value proposition guidelines

Candidate Specification

Essential Candidate Requirements:
  • Degree qualified
  • Experienced in managing and delivering a high volume of recruitment activity in a technical environment across a broad range of disciplines within multiple sectors including, Buildings, Infrastructure, Transportation and Advisory
  • Proven ability to deliver an excellent and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Experience of recruiting in both local and international markets
  • Previous experience working in a global, complex, professional services / engineering environment
  • Intermediate – advanced research experience using Boolean search string methodology
  • Experience of using a bespoke recruitment tool, database or applicant tracking system
  • Research experience on social media platforms is essential
  • Strong organisational capability, able to meet deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Results orientated
  • Exceptional communication skills in both written and spoken English
