Global mobility specialist administrator

The Global Mobility (GM) team is a small team responsible for providing advisory/ consultancy support to the business and local HR teams on relocating our employees across the globe to the most challenging of locations. Recent examples include Lesotho, Nepal and Democratic Republic of Congo in addition to the more common moves to Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Middle East. We currently have 220 + Long Term Assignees and 150 + Short Term Assignees in a variety of host locations. We are looking for a GM Specialist administrator to support our busy GM Team - there is lots to do and lots to learn - a fabulous opportunity for someone who can add value from day one.

Job Description

  • Run reports on assignees as/when required, using the Global Mobility Technology Tool.
  • Run draft cost projections/balance sheets/assignment letters through the Global Mobility Technology Tool for the GM Advisor to review.
  • Support GM advisors with vendor initiations.
  • Manage ad-hoc data requests from the GM team.
  • Support GM advisors with following up on tax delinquents for Long and Short Term assignees
  • Conduct first review of Tax Authorisation Lists
  • Support GM Advisor with basic case management including information / documents relating to assignments e.g. signed assignment letters
  • Adhoc project work as required – updating atting documentation/training guides

Candidate Specification

  • Experience in Global Mobility.
  • Experience of working with AssignmentPro.
  • Strong numerical skills are required.
  • Strong relationship management skills, customer focused.
  • Ability to work in a cost conscious and busy environment.
  • Strong communication skills, able to confidently work with all members of the GM team and other departments.
  • Prepared to work with challenging global locations and various time zones.
  • Analytical and reporting skills, with proven experience in IT software and advanced Excel skills (or a willingness to learn).
  • Strong cross-cultural awareness, sensitivity and a high level of confidentiality.
  • Attention to detail, strong organisational and administration skills.
