Job Description

Mott MacDonald has been appointed by a prestigious client in the Washington D.C. metro area to oversee a significant task order rail, signals and associated maintenance work. As a result of a high-volume of work, we're looking to welcome three schedulers to our team. The role will be to:
  • develop and monitor a schedule of either: structures work, ATC maintenance, or major outages
  • liaise with various departments to develop schedules which focus on the priorities of the teams
  • keep check of the schedule to ensure that the work is completed as planned
  • report progress against plan on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • effectively communicate across a multitude of stakeholders

Candidate Specification

Our team of professionals provides cost-effective and innovative engineering solutions for the North American transportation and infrastructure industry with unprecedented success. We’re looking for schedulers to join our team to continue this traction and invite applications from candidates with:
  • ​Demonstrable experience of developing schedules from scratch
  • Effective communication skills and stakeholder engagement
  • A bachelor's degree in a relatable discipline, or extensive experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience in rail, signals, systems, track or maintenance would be beneficial
  • Intricate Primavera 6 experience
