For over 30 years we have been working closely with our customers worldwide to achieve solutions tailored for their unique needs. With many governments worldwide incentivising the use of bio-components in automotive fuel we have kept abreast with the technology developments and carried out a number of projects in this area.
Mott MacDonald is being actively involved with our clients to provide engineering solutions for their lube oil blending plants both for the offshore side, with process units and filling lines and the onshore side with storage tanks and loading/unloading facilities.
We provide holistic support to our customers by acting as a link between our clients and the blending technology providers. Our expertise covers most commonly used technologies including automatic batch blending, simultaneous metered blending and in-line blending.
We have provided engineering, procurement and construction management services to Clients such as TOTAL, Shell and MAG Lube for their lube oil blending plants in Dubai, increasing the blending and packaging plant capacity to about 25,000 tonne/shift/year.
We also worked with Shell, TOTAL and Sinopec during the conceptual phase of development of a Lube Park in Singapore. The Lube park is a unique concept in the lubricants industry where the three partners share facilities including export and import jetty, common pipelines and infrastructure and exclusive storage which services their respective lube oil blending plants.
With a growing global trend promoting the use of bio-fuel components such as ethanol, Fatty Acid Methyl Ester and Palm Oil Methyl Ester in gasoline and diesel our experience in this area is becoming increasingly strategic to our global clients.
We are now cooperating with our long-term client Shell to provide engineering, procurement and construction management services for introducing bio-fuels in Malaysia and Indonesia.
