Global engineering, management and development consultancy Mott MacDonald has appointed Chris Wassef as its New South Wales (NSW) regional transport leader in Australia. He will be responsible for strategy development and growing the transport sector of the business, as well as leading projects through the delivery of quality professional services.
Chris is a civil engineer with an extensive background in project management for large-scale property and infrastructure projects. He joins Mott MacDonald from Aurecon, where he held a number of senior executive roles. Most recently, Chris was a technical director responsible for leading and growing Auercon’s project management, advisory and transport market industry leader businesses. He was also client relationship executive for Transport for NSW (TfNSW), Sydney Trains, Transurban and Sydney Airport. Chris also acted as project director on multiple infrastructure commissions for clients including Novo Rail, TfNSW Transurban and Roads and Maritime Services.
