Among our projects across the country, we undertook due diligence and cost management services on projects in the 2014 Winter Olympics venue Sochi and on development of a number of shopping malls. We also provided funding advice on the renovation of St Petersburg’s prestigious Ramada Pushkin hotel. And one of our sustainability projects involved designing Russia’s first commercial building which was awarded a Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) rating for environmental performance.
Recent experience includes water treatment, benchmarking of utilities for energy efficiency and environmental impact, technologies reviews, river water quality monitoring and assessment and support of municipal supply and waste water works.
We've recently acted as technical advisor to the City of St Petersburg on Russia’s first privately financed water project – for abstraction and treatment of a 800,000m3/day, meeting a third of the city’s water demand.
Our health team helped improve access to better quality healthcare in the country. Notably, the Nizhny Novgorod/UK’s Department for International Development partnership programme focused on enabling local government to mobilise a multi-sectoral response to addressing HIV/AIDS. This partnership works to reduce poverty and improve quality of life while seeking to establish Nizhny Novgorod as one of the country’s leading regions in HIV and AIDS prevention.
Our education experts have been helping managers undertake an EU management training programme designed to promote western business culture and provide direct training through internships in leading companies.
