A partnership between the Flemish region and ParticipatieMaatschappij Vlaanderen, Via-Invest Vlaanderen NV has responsibility for realising a number of 'missing links' in Flemish infrastructure through public private partnerships.
The north-south Kempen line is a design, build, finance and maintenance project involving the extension of N19g between Geel and Kasterlee. This includes the crossing over Albert Canal and a renovated connection of Geel-West with the E313 Antwerp-Luik. The project will strengthen infrastructure in the central region while enhancing safety and quality for the duration of the project’s life.
We acted as lenders’ technical advisor on account of being the world’s biggest provider of infrastructure finance services. After completing construction monitoring we were asked to provide maintenance monitoring and regular progress reports to the lenders.
