Hatch Mott MacDonald - the US$210 million North American business
of Mott MacDonald - has announced it is to incorporate the Atlantic
infrastructure practice of Hatch* into its 1400-strong operation
working from 50 offices.
“This consolidation is consistent with our overall strategy to provide infrastructure services across North America, and will result in a number of efficiencies and synergies which will improve the competitive position of the firm,” commented Nicholas M. DeNichilo, President and CEO of Hatch Mott MacDonald.
“This move will result in a closer alignment of the infrastructure practice in Atlantic Canada with the rest of the Hatch Mott MacDonald organisation, bringing the full depth and breadth of our infrastructure skills to bear in the region and will allow us to more effectively deliver their capabilities throughout the rest of Hatch Mott MacDonald,” added Michael Schatz, Manager of Hatch Mott MacDonald’s Canada business.
This latest development significantly expands Hatch Mott MacDonald's Canada portfolio which features high profile projects such as its lead design role on the CDN$600 million Sea to Sky Highway Improvement in preparation for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
